Some of the primary responsibilities of the role are (but not limited to):

• Liaise and organise tools, machinery, equipment, trucks and staff
• Assist in delegating and organising staff during concrete pours
• Carry out work as directed, safely and to specified quality requirements explained to them by their supervisor.
• To have a basic understanding of construction drawings
• To be able to read and understand the performance of concrete
• To be able to use power tools, machinery and other assets in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure levels and datum’s are being met during concrete preparation and pours
• Ensure all concrete is prepared and poured as per the design intent or as directed
• Provide the required concrete finishes on all concrete surfaces
• Assist and maintain staff moral in a positive can do manor
• Assist in organising staff break during concrete pours
• Assist in ensuring that staff finishing times are co-ordinated correctly and release staff as they are not needed throughout the day
• Concrete patching
• To be able to use lasers and dumpy levels and complete basic survey set out.
